Wales U14 Boys and Girls Ready to Represent at Home Nations Invitational Tournament
Basketball Wales is delighted to congratulate all the players selected to represent Wales at this weekend’s U14 Home Nations Invitational Tournament, taking place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June at the Cardiff Met Archers Arena.
The tournament will see Wales welcome England, Scotland and Ireland for an exciting weekend of junior international basketball, with both the boys’ and girls’ competitions showcasing some of the brightest young talent from across the Home Nations.
Selection to represent Wales is a significant achievement and reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication each player has shown throughout the national team pathway. For many, the tournament will provide their first opportunity to wear the Welsh jersey in front of a home crowd, making it a memorable milestone in their basketball journey.
The Home Nations Invitational Tournament plays an important role in the development of young athletes, providing high-quality international competition while helping players gain valuable experience against some of the best emerging talent from across the UK and Ireland.

Supporters planning to attend should note that parking at the Archers Arena will be extremely limited throughout the weekend due to several other sporting events taking place across the Cardiff Metropolitan University campus. Spectators are encouraged to allow extra time for their journey and may need to park off campus and walk to the arena if on-site parking is unavailable.
