Our more experience youngsters. Boys and girls will train separately once a month. They can look forward to representing Wales at a number of tournaments both at home and abroad.
Will Hopper – U14 girls
I am a former professional basketball player and I have experienced playing for teams oversees in Malta, Denmark and Ireland where I played under the national team coaches of both Malta and Ireland.
My coaching career in 2018 where I used the experience gained from playing at a professional level to guide the Leeds City College U19 men to the Association of Colleges league title.
Last season, I was the Head Coach of the Wales U13 Girls National Team and my Leeds LDM U16 boys team finished runners up in the Basketball England Junior National League.
I can’t wait for the season to start again and to work with some talented athletes.
Antonio Wilburn – U14 boys
I am an American basketball coach originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. Played collegiate basketball in the USA, before starting a professional basketball career, playing in the USA and Canada and more recently in Europe.
Now living in the UK overseeing a number of basketball projects.
