Druids cruise to victory over Warriors in BWNL
The visitors Ynys Mon Druids secured the win with a commanding 64-48 victory over the home side on the back of 15 points from five 3-pointers.
The match got off to a swift start as hosts Warriors gained a momentary lead before Druids stole the show to have a 16-12 advantage thanks to Patrick Fairburn’s scoring eight points.
The visitors held a slim three-point lead 30-27 at halftime, courtesy Ossian Buckland’s nine points.
The same story continued into the second half as the visitors called the shots as Buckland added another 10 points to his team’s tally and ended the match with a prolific personal score of 19 points, despite a late charge from the Warriors led valiantly by Gabrial Scarpone’s six points.
In the end, it was a bridge too far for the hosts as Druids picked up an important road win in the Basketball Wales National League
