Wales U15 Secure Convincing Win Over Tornado
Wales U15 produced a strong and confident performance to record an 87–58 victory over Tornado, delivering a well-rounded display on both ends of the floor.
From the early stages, Wales looked in control, setting the tempo with aggressive defence and effective scoring inside. Their ability to pressure the ball and convert turnovers into points helped them build momentum, finishing with 31 points from turnovers and 29 fast-break points.
Wales’ dominance in the paint proved a major factor throughout the game, as they scored 64 points inside and consistently created second-chance opportunities. Strong work on the boards saw them control possession, finishing with 78 rebounds and limiting Tornado’s chances to stay in the contest.
There were several standout performances across the team. Samuel Fricker led the way with 16 points and an impressive 17 rebounds, while Felix Jakubowski added 14 points and 7 assists, playing a key role in Wales’ offensive flow. Captain Ean Alford contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds in an efficient display, with Lewys Jones also adding 12 points.
Wales’ depth was another positive, with the bench contributing 40 points. Luca O’Saul made an impact with 8 points and 7 rebounds, while contributions across the rotation ensured the team maintained energy and control throughout the game.
