This is an in-depth course for those who have completed Level 2 and have been operating at that level across the timer and scorer roles for at least two full seasons. The Level 3 course provides training on the roles of the timer and scorer, as well as introducing the role of the shot clock operator.

Level 3 Table Officials can be deployed to all Basketball Wales and NBL competitions as well as being recommended for the British Basketball Federation approved professional leagues

You will need access to a laptop, computer or smart device to complete this course. You will also need to be able to print out the practice scoresheet template to be able to complete the course.

Expected duration: 10 hours (2 x 2.5 hour online webinars, 2 x 1 hour examinations, 1.5 hours scoresheet assessment).

Prerequisite: Level 2 Table Official for at least two full basketball seasons.

Recommended minimum age: 18 years

Learner Requirements

1. Sign up via the link below and pay for the course
2. Attend both of the course modules
3. Complete and pass the rules test (80% Pass Mark)
4. Become a Basketball Wales Member and obtain your table officials licence. This is required before refereeing any game
5. Complete your assessment games and get them approved by the course tutor or an approved table official coach

7. Start your journey as a Level 3 table official officiate some games
