This course provides an introduction for officials interested in becoming qualified statisticians. The course will provide you with insight and guidance on the basic criteria and actions that are recorded in formal statistics.
The qualification will allow you to understand and identify the different statistics within a live game situation.
Candidates will need to have access to the Basketball Wales Spond app to access course materials.
Expected duration: Approximately 2.5hrs, delivered in person or online
Prerequisites: No previous experience necessary, but candidates will need to have a basic understanding of the actions in a game of basketball
Recommended minimum age: 12 years
