Entries Now Open for Basketball Wales Dynamik National Schools Competitions 2025–26
Basketball Wales is excited to announce that entries are now open for the 2024–25 National Secondary Schools Competitions—providing pupils across Wales with the opportunity to compete, represent their schools, and showcase their skills on the national stage.
The competition is open to schools from all regions of Wales, with categories for boys and girls across multiple age groups, including:
- Year 7 & 8
- Year 9 & 10
- Year 11 & 13
This annual tournament continues to grow, offering a structured pathway for school-aged players and serving as a key part of Basketball Wales’ commitment to developing youth participation, talent identification, and grassroots growth throughout the country.
“These competitions play a vital role in introducing young people to structured basketball and encouraging them to take pride in representing their schools,” said Gavin Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Basketball Wales.
“We’re excited to welcome even more schools into the programme this year and continue building the future of Welsh basketball.”

- 🗓 Entry Deadline: 15th September 2025
- 📍 Regional Rounds: To be held across North, South, Mid and West Wales between October and January 2026
- 🏆 National Finals: Scheduled for Thursday 26th March 2026 at Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff
