Basketball Wales has announced the squads and staff preparing for the upcoming Senior Men’s and Women’s 3×3 Commonwealth Qualifiers.

The event, scheduled for the weekend of 22nd-24th May, will serve as the qualification tournament for the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, featuring both the senior men’s and women’s 3×3 teams.

Our previous Commonwealth Games qualifiers in 2022 gave us an incredibly valuable experience, and travelling to compete in Belfast in May 2025 allowed us to build on that foundation, put key learning into practise, and continue developing our cohesion as a group. We’ve established a strong core over the past few years, and the new additions have integrated well. I’m looking forward to a competitive block of camps before we head to the qualifiers in May.”
