Basketball Wales hosts several U13 Regional Hubs across Wales, providing young players with extra coaching beyond their regular club sessions.
To address areas in Wales with limited junior clubs, Basketball Wales has strategically established Hubs to increase coaching and play opportunities for U13 players. These hubs welcome boys and girls in school years 6, 7, and 8 who are eager to enhance their basketball skills and aspire to join the Basketball Wales National Team pathway in the future.
Experienced Basketball Wales-selected coaches lead the hubs, focusing on developing players’ technical skills and understanding of the game. Each session runs for approximately three hours, with pre-booking required via the Sport:80 Event Portal or by clicking on the graphics below.
The U13 Regional Hubs operate in partnership with the FIBA Europe Youth Development Fund and the British Basketball Federation.
