FIBA Europe Youth Development Fund U13Regional Basketball Hubs – Sign Up Now
Basketball Wales is pleased to announce the start of our U13 Regional Basketball Hubs, supported by the FIBA Europe Youth Development Fund (YDF). This programme is designed to encourage young basketball talent in Wales, offering opportunities for boys and girls in school years 6, 7, and 8.
The FIBA YDF supports youth basketball projects and national teams across 50 European National Federations. The aim is to introduce new young players to the sport and increase basketball’s visibility at a community level.
Purpose of the U13 Regional Hubs
These hubs will help the Basketball Wales performance committee identify players who may have potential for future National Team Squad Trials. The sessions will allow young players to develop skills and work towards future opportunities.
Hub Information
Mae'r Hybiau Rhanbarthol dan 13 are open to boys and girls in school years 6, 7, and 8. Players are encouraged to attend the hub closest to where they live. Here are the confirmed details:

Mae'r Youth Development Fund (YDF) aims to bring new players to basketball through schools, local clubs, and communities. Players participating in these hubs can develop their skills and be considered for future National Team trials.
