Basketball Wales Opens Applications for Non-Executive Marketing & Commercial Director
Basketball Wales is seeking to appoint a Non-Executive Marketing & Commercial Director to join the Board and support the continued development of the organisation.
The voluntary role will provide Board-level leadership and strategic guidance across marketing, commercial growth and infrastructure development. Working alongside fellow Directors and the executive team, the successful candidate will help shape the organisation’s commercial strategy, strengthen the Basketball Wales brand and support the development of sustainable income streams.
The role will also contribute to the organisation’s long-term strategic planning, helping to identify new commercial opportunities, develop partnerships and support initiatives that strengthen participation, performance and community engagement across the sport.

The appointment is typically for a four-year term, renewable once, subject to governance requirements. The role requires an estimated two to three days per month, including Board meetings, committee meetings and stakeholder engagement.
