Over 2,000 Welsh school pupils regularly play basketball. We offer a range of opportunities for all ages to learn, play and compete at all levels.
Following a year without schools basketball, the national school competition is back and bigger than ever.
47 schools from 14 local authorities will be fighting it out to be crowned the DYNAMIK National Schools champions.
We are delighted that our friends at DYNAMIK have agreed to be the main sponsor for this year’s competition.
The first local authority round will take place on 9 December 2021 and other tournaments have been scheduled for before and after Christmas. All local authority rounds will be done by end of January 2022.
The dates for both the regional and national finals have been booked and in the diary:
- South regional finals – 15 February 2022 at Cardiff University
- Mid and west regional finals – 17 February at Swansea University
- North regional final – TBC
- National finals – 25 March 2022 at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff
