Basketball Wales Freezes Membership Fees for 2026/27 and Launches New Member Rewards
Basketball Wales is delighted to announce that club affiliation and individual membership fees for the 2026/27 season have remain frozen. We are also excited to announce the launch of a brand new Member Rewards and Loyalty Programme, available exclusively to Basketball Wales members through the Sport:80 membership platform.
Powered by Endurance Zone, the new rewards programme gives members access to a wide range of exclusive discounts, offers, cashback opportunities, and savings from leading national retailers, restaurants, travel providers, entertainment brands, and more.
The initiative forms part of Basketball Wales’ continued commitment to adding greater value to membership and supporting our basketball community both on and off the court.
The platform offers exclusive online discounts currently live for a range of sporting brands and outlets such as Nike, Adidas, JD Sports, Garmin and others, plus a host offers and discounts across hundreds of other retailers, including supermarkets, gyms and lifestyle brands.

However, if they enjoy the experience and wish to continue, they should join Basketball Wales prior to their second session. This helps ensure that both players and clubs are appropriately covered under Basketball Wales’ public liability insurance, protecting both parties.
Registration also plays an important role in safeguarding. Maintaining accurate membership records helps clubs and Basketball Wales understand who is participating in the sport, communicate important welfare information and ensure that players, coaches and officials operate within the appropriate safeguarding framework. This supports our shared commitment to providing a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment for everyone involved in Welsh basketball.
Growing the game in Wales
A key priority within Basketball Wales’ strategy is to grow the game among primary school pupils aged 8–11.
